We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Powder Coat Applicator to join our growing finishing team. If you take pride in turning raw metal into a flawless, durable finish and enjoy working alongside a crew that values quality and teamwork, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
In this position, you'll be responsible for preparing and powder coating a wide variety of parts from multiple suppliers — anything from small hardware components to large pieces up to 24 feet in length. No two days look the same, and you'll get to work on projects that require both precision on the small stuff and a steady hand on the big stuff.
What You'll Be Doing
- Racking parts efficiently to maximize coverage and throughput
- Cleaning and preparing surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality
- Applying powder coat finishes to a wide range of part sizes and shapes
- Inspecting finished work to make sure every piece meets our quality standards
- Working closely with teammates to keep the shop running smoothly and on schedule
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation
What We're Looking For
- Previous powder coating experience is a strong asset, but we're willing to train the right person with the right attitude
- Comfortable handling parts of all sizes, including long pieces up to 24 feet
- Strong attention to detail and pride in a quality finish
- A team player who communicates well and pitches in when needed
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to put in an honest day's work
- Physically capable of standing, lifting, and moving parts throughout the shift
