Essential Fitness Coach duties:

Lead our PE@PF™ program, including:
- Encourage all members and guests along their fitness journey within the club.
- Advocate for the Planet Fitness Mobile App with all members, guests, and prospective members.
- Lead sessions: Design Your Own Program™, New Member Orientation, Core, Stretch, Upper Body, Lower Body, PF360™ Strength, PF360™ Burn, TRX™.
- Maintain a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Use and understand our exercise equipment and be able to demonstrate its use to members.
Communicate with our members and TMs in person, by phone, and in writing.
Follow verbal communication. This includes communication from members, TMs, and supervisors.
Follow written communication. This includes prepared scripts for multiple member services, such as info calls, tours, cancellations, and rate reviews.
Use different types of technology to service members:
- Computer/iPad: Check-ins, billing, new joins, points of sale
- Smartphone: Planet Fitness Mobile App
Certify in both CPR and AED training.
Perform CPR and use the AED machine.
Comply with all safety and sanitization guidelines.
Other duties assigned.

What we are looking for:

Service-oriented and able to resolve member concerns.
Basic computer proficiency.
Upbeat attitude.
Punctuality and reliability are a must.
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
Initiative and strong communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for long periods of time.
Talk and hear.
Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
Repetitively reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and twist.
The TM must frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift, push, and pull objects up to 75 pounds.
