About the Role
As an Experienced Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience from the first conversation through vehicle delivery and beyond. We are seeking an experienced sales professional who is friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoys working with people. You are passionate about building lasting relationships, earning customer trust, and helping customers find the vehicle that best fits their needs.
In this role, you will confidently engage with customers, listen to their needs, present solutions, and guide them through the sales process with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first approach. Success comes from creating genuine connections, providing knowledgeable advice, and ensuring customers feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.

What You'll Do
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs, lifestyle, and budget
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver a positive purchasing experience
- Conduct vehicle presentations, walkarounds, and test drives
- Follow up with customers before, during, and after the sale
- Maintain ongoing relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
- Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to complete transactions efficiently
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow dealership processes
- Stay current on product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented dealership culture
Compliance & Licensing (Alberta Requirement)
- Follow all AMVIC regulations and Alberta consumer protection laws
- Ensure transparency in pricing, financing, and vehicle information
- Obtain proper customer acknowledgements and maintain accurate documentation
- Successfully obtain and maintain AMVIC licensing as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience required; automotive sales experience is an asset
- Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive mindset
- Comfortable adapting to change and learning new skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Comfortable using social media and digital communication tools
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Compensation
Compensation is commission-based, with earning potential directly tied to your performance and effort. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, customer-focused, and excited to build a rewarding career in sales. Full compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
Full-Time
- Evenings and weekends as required
- Schedule will be based on dealership operating hours and customer needs
Location
Based in Rocky Mountain House, with a reasonable commute from Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, and surrounding Central Alberta communities.
