Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order taking and cash handling.
Serve customers promptly and courteously, addressing their needs and inquiries with professionalism.
Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing transactions accurately and handling cash securely.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
Assist with food handling tasks, including stocking supplies and ensuring proper food storage procedures are followed.
Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Follow all sanitation protocols to uphold health standards within the restaurant environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Good understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
