MathImagine is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging educator to join our team as a Presenter supporting teacher conventions and professional learning events across Southern Alberta.

Our professional learning sessions are interactive, practical, and focused on strategies teachers can implement immediately in their classrooms.
What You'll Do
As a MathImagine Presenter, you will:
- Facilitate professional learning sessions at teacher conventions and conferences
- Learn and deliver existing MathImagine presentation content
- Engage educators through interactive discussions and activities
- Represent MathImagine at conferences
- Share classroom-ready strategies and best practices in mathematics instruction
- Gather participant feedback and contribute ideas for future sessions
- Virtual and in person sessions

This position will primarily support Southern Alberta this year, for example:
- CATCA (Lethbridge)
- MPTCA (Calgary)
- Palliser Teachers' Convention
- SEATCA (Southeastern Alberta)
- SWATCA (Medicine Hat)
- ERLC (online)
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Current or previous teaching experience
- Strong understanding of mathematics instruction and numeracy development
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to travel within Southern Alberta
- Comfortable presenting to groups of educators
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional development or conference presentation experience
- Experience facilitating adult learning
- Strong knowledge of current mathematics curriculum and instructional practices
- Leadership experience within education

Compensation
- MathImagine presenters are compensated $270 per session presented.
- This rate is intended to cover both the one-hour conference presentation and the associated preparation, review, and planning time required before the session.
- Session materials, presentation content, and onboarding support will be provided to help presenters prepare.
- Presenters may have the opportunity to deliver multiple sessions at a single conference.
- Additional compensation for travel or accommodations may be provided where applicable.
Pay: $1.00-$270.00 per day
