Full job description

Regional Manager in Lewisporte. This position is for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We currently have multiple Regional Manager out of this office and this position will be in addition.

To operate the office efficiently ensuring guidelines and goals are met with quality and efficiency. Help grow current clientele in their region by establishing relations within their communities. Ensuring Horwood’s Home Care mission, values, and goals are adopted and in place. Our goal is to treat all clients and workers like family and ensure everyone is valued equally.

Some responsibilities are but not limited to;

· Manage day-to-day operations of the office to ensure that all areas of operations (both administrative and clinical), are completed efficiently, and promptly.

· Client care services such as; client referrals, monthly meetings at specific clients’ homes, client caseload, supervisory home visits and phone calls, authorizations, and flowsheets.

· Ensure information for patient safety is given to new hires. This is included in the Patient Safety Training Course, Employee Handbook, and Orientation Package.

· Administrative duties such as; seniority list updated monthly, filing, monthly reports, greeting cards, employee appraisals, updating client/employee software and accepting client contributions.

· Travel within the region. Must have a valid driver's license along with access to your vehicle.

· The manager will attend seminars and training that will be beneficial to professional development and agency.

·On call for the agency’s emergency line.

· Interviews, hiring/orientation process, and scheduling of employees and clients. Staffing requirements will be one of the more challenges aspects of this position.

· Track time-off requests and overtime for employees.

Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word, and the ability to use internal software (with training). Education is an asset but not a necessity. The ideal Manager would be familiar with their region and have the confidence to build a caseload through marketing, advertising and meeting health authorities, families, and other resources. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required. Code of conduct required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $22 /hour with medical and dental benefits.
