Full job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the success their retail store. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate retail leader who enjoys developing teams, creating exceptional customer experiences, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about customer service, team development, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Support daily store operations and lead by example.
Coach, mentor, and develop a strong, customer focused team.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure knowledgeable, compliant service.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development.
Support scheduling, payroll accuracy, and labour management.
Maintain compliance with AGCO regulations and company policies.
Oversee cash handling, inventory management, merchandising, and store standards.
Support sales initiatives, promotions, and customer loyalty strategies.
Identify opportunities to improve store performance and customer engagement.

What We're Looking For

3-5+ years of retail leadership or management experience.
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Experience with POS systems, inventory control, and scheduling.
Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must meet all provincial cannabis employment requirements.
