Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Person to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that food preparation processes run smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, experience in food handling, and a strong work ethic to support our kitchen operations.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients for daily orders.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Organize ingredients and supplies to facilitate efficient meal preparation
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in meal quality
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Support the team during busy periods by performing various kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Basic understanding of meal preparation and food industry practices
Prior experience with serving or food service roles is a plus but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies as needed
