Full job description

We are currently seeking a part-time office administrator to provide support to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work during the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Schedule will be determined to benefit both parties.

Duties:

Data entry, filing, photo-coping, and scanning
Responsible for all Accounts Payable functions including invoice verification, coding, posting and cheque runs
Account reconciliations
Provide back-up for front desk administrator by assisting with customer service, answering phone calls, processing customer orders and invoicing
Other clerical support for projects as directed by management

Qualifications:

Experience in an office environment
Experience with a multi-line phone system
Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience
Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience with Sage 50 would be considered an asset, but not required
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Experience in Payroll and HR would be an asset

The ideal candidate would have the availability to work additional hours for vacation coverage when given adequate notice.

This position may eventually grow into 3/4 or Fulltime employment with added responsibilities such as Payroll, Month-End, and other accounting tasks.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
