KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Parts Technician, you will support daily Parts Department operations by maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating interbranch document flow, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will perform Parts Technician duties while working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support department goals. Your professionalism, organization, and attention to detail will help ensure company standards and service expectations are consistently met.
●Parts Technician Duties: Perform all core Parts Technician duties, including researching, ordering, billing, shelving, and issuing parts for all makes of Class 7 and 8 trucks in accordance with company standards.
●Inventory Control & Warehouse Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective stock management, system and physical counts, quotation processing, stock returns, and efficient use of warehouse space.
●Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by responding professionally to inquiries, concerns, warranties, and returns while building and maintain strong customer relationships.
●Inter-Branch Coordination & Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate document and parts flow between branches by working collaboratively to maximize inventory availability and operational efficiency.
●Sales Support & Business Development: Support parts sales growth and departmental objectives by identifying new opportunities, promoting Online Parts Counter (OPC), and participating in marketing and best-practice initiatives.
●Safety & Compliance: Comply with all health and safety regulations, follow departmental processes, and consistently represent Stahl Peterbilt’s culture, values, and professionalism in all interactions.

EDUCATION
●Red Seal Journeyman Parts Technician certification or equivalent experience/apprenticeship
●High school diploma
●Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience using or adapting to PC-based systems.
