Full job description

Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Oilfiled Truck Driver, where your expertise in commercial driving will power our essential operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting oil and related freight across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Duties

Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and transport oil and freight along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
Professionalism in customer service
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Transport and handle dangerous goods
Drive on highways, rural roads and oilfield access roads while adjusting to changing road, weather and site conditions.
Follow company safety policies, customer site requirements and applicable commercial transportation regulations at all times.
