Summer Employment Opportunity – Herbicide Applicator
Arbor-Tech Utility Services Ltd. is an Alberta & Saskatchewan based, full-service Vegetation Management Company providing professional services to the Utility, Oil and Gas, Pipeline, Forestry and Municipal industries. Our core services are tree trimming/pruning, tree slashing including hazard tree removal, mulching, herbicide application and consulting/patrolling/consenting. Position
We are currently looking for applicants interested in securing their 2026 summer employment as Seasonal Herbicide Applicators, working in Northwest Saskatchewan. The position involves working outdoors, travelling the back country of the province, living out of town, and controlling vegetation on Utility Right-of-Ways. We cover all accommodations, and a $50+ daily living-out-allowance is paid on top of wages. Average 65 hours per week. Salary $20 - $28 per hour.
Qualifications:
· 18 years of age or older
· Physically fit
· Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test
· Able to pass a criminal record check
The following are considered additional assets:
· Relevant Post-Secondary Education
· SK Industrial Pesticide Applicators Certificate
· Herbicide application experience
· Valid Class 5 DL, Class 3 or Airbrakes
· UTV Licence
· Standard First Aid/CPR, H2S
This is a full-time, seasonal opportunity, beginning May 2026, for individuals with the right attitude who want to grow their skill set in a demanding, challenging and rewarding industry. This position is ideally suited to summer students as the scheduling coincides with summer break, typically May-Aug. We offer a competitive compensation package and company sponsored benefits. For the right individual, a full-time, permanent position may be available.
