Work Environment:
T his position is located in the Lloydminster area and requires the successful
candidate to live in the area.
This is a full-time employee position.
What you’ll do:
Manage day-to-day Thermal facility operations at sites under your supervision, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable production.
Oversee multiple locations, providing direction and technical support to meet operational and maintenance targets.
Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, finance, health and safety, and other operations teams to coordinate activities and optimize performance.
Lead safety performance, ensuring compliance with occupational and process safety standards and driving continuous improvement.
Monitor and control production, OPEX and GHG performance, identifying and implementing optimization opportunities.
Exercise independent decision-making authority on operational priorities.
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
10+ years of experience in operations with minimum 3 years leadership experience
Minimum high school diploma
3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
