Full job description

Our Company is looking for a professional, friendly, Purchaser / receptionist to join our team. If you have excellent communication skills, are quick to problem solve, can be self-directed, this is the place for you!

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Understand and adhere to all Orion Machining and Design’s policies and procedures, furthermore, understand and adhere to any client’s policies and procedures;

· Purchase receive and date entry of Raw Materials.

·Source raw material from customer supplied documents

· Time Tickets / attendance entry

·Administrative tasks

· Use and interact with shop based ERP system

· Any other duties required by management.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism;

· Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft office products;

· Exceptional flexibility with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines;

· Excellent oral, written and communication skills;

· Strong attention to detail;

· Stress management skills;

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;

· Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and the ability to multi-task;

· Must be able to work both independently with minimal supervision and as an integral part of a team;

·Reliable, punctual, good attendance;

· Problem solving ability: strategic thinker;

· Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships both working effectively with colleagues and maintaining supplier rapport;

· Extraordinary commitment to maintain confidentiality.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Frequent sitting, bending, twisting and standing;

Qualifications:

· Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in a similar role;

· Strong knowledge of ECI Solutions is an asset, training can be provided;

· Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe experience;

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
