Transitional Housing Support Worker – Full-Time Temporary

SPARK Foundation of Lloydminster

Wage: $24.00-$29.52 per hour

As a Full-time employee, you will:

· Paid flex/wellness days

· Earn vacation time accumulated at a rate of 6% of hours worked immediately upon hire.

Position Overview

The Transitional Housing Support Worker:

Provides support to women and children in the SPARK Transitional Housing Program - Dol-Mar Manor, as they move forward from relationship and family violence.
Promotes positive parent child relationships through guidance, role modeling, and support.
Supports family strengths, wellbeing, and goals through individualized planning and case management.
Assists families with daily routines, practical needs, and activities at Dol-Mar Manor.
Develops and facilitates weekly programming, wellness activities, and ongoing individual and group support.
Maintains accurate, timely, and professional documentation in accordance with SPARK policies.
Collaborates with referral partners to ensure coordinated and seamless client services.
Completes housekeeping, laundry, gardening, and general facility maintenance duties.
Helps maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment while following emergency and risk management procedures.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

1 Full-Time Temporary Position: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Schedule: Daytime, evening, weekday, weekend shifts

Experience and Competencies:

Diploma or degree in a human service field is preferred, but a combination of related training and experience will be considered.
Excellent knowledge of the issue of family violence, and trauma aware supports.
Previous experience in related field would be an asset
A valid driver's license combined with a 3-year clean driving history.
