Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Cook to lead our Kitchen department with passion, precision, and innovative vision. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring excellence in food preparation, service, and team management. As the driving force behind our kitchen-focused initiatives, you will inspire your team to deliver exceptional experiences that delight our guests and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, providing clear direction, coaching, and motivation to ensure top-tier performance in food preparation, serving, and overall restaurant management
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared to high standards of quality, presentation, and safety in accordance with health regulations
Manage food handling procedures meticulously to maintain freshness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards
Coordinate food service activities to optimize efficiency during peak hours while maintaining excellent customer interactions
Develop and implement training programs for staff on cooking techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure seamless operations without waste or shortages
Enforce strict adherence to sanitation standards and health codes across all areas of the restaurant or food service environment
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Demonstrated success in team management and leadership roles within the food industry or hospitality sector
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation practices
Experience managing restaurant operations including inventory control, staffing schedules, and customer service delivery
Familiarity with restaurant management systems and POS (Point of Sale) technology is preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively
