Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bindery Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values precision, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Operate bindery machinery to assemble, trim, fold, and finish printed products according to specifications.
Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and quality output.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
Assist in bindery when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimize workflow efficiency.

Experience

Prior experience in printing, mainly folding and cutting.
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance is highly desirable.
Experience with machining or similar technical skills will be considered an asset.
Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is a plus.
Previous experience working with bindery or finishing equipment is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. This position requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
