Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Regulatory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory readiness, managing quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our aseptic beverage manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with CFIA, FDA, FSMA, BRC, Organic, Gluten Free and other relevant regulatory and customer requirements.
Maintain, update, and audit quality systems, HACCP plans, and food safety programs in accordance with aseptic processing standards.
Review and approve product labels, packaging claims, and ingredient declarations for regulatory accuracy.
Monitor and communicate regulatory changes that may impact manufacturing or product labeling.
Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory and customer audits.
Prepare and submit regulatory documentation, certifications, and reports.
Collaborate with production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality and compliance from raw material to final product.
Support investigations of non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Maintain up-to-date records and databases related to quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Regulatory Affairs, preferably in an aseptic or beverage manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of CFIA and FDA food regulations, HACCP, GMP, and aseptic processing requirements.
Experience with BRC or other GFSI-benchmarked certification programs.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
