Duties
- Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with hours-of-service regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during trips
Qualifications
MUST be able to Cross the Border to the USA
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
- min 1 years experience in winter driving
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with route driving responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning tools
