Full job description

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Coordinator for an immediate onsite temporary opportunity located in downtown Winnipeg. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities:

Process full-cycle accounts payable functions
Process biweekly payroll
Maintain and update employee and human resources files
Prepare and issue checks for signatures related to payables
Perform credit card reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and assist with accounting records
Ensure all payroll and payable deadlines are completed accurately and on time
Support general accounting and administrative functions as required

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field
2 plus years of accounts payable experience
2 plus years of experience processing biweekly payroll
2 plus years of experience with
Payworks
QuickBooks Online
Credit card reconciliations
Journal entries
Experience maintaining employee and HR files
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Criminal background check is required
