Join a team focused on putting members first. As Salus Mutual’s next Property Adjuster, you’ll be the company’s direct representative on the ground — investigating losses, building relationships, and making a real difference for policyholders when it matters most. If you know property, you’re comfortable working independently, and you want the autonomy that comes with being in the field, this role is built for you.

Position Requirements

Postsecondary education or equivalent training and work experience
Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, or completion of most CIP courses, an asset
Valid driver’s license and own transportation required
Minimum 3–5 years of residential property adjusting experience; farm and commercial property experience an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with insurance software an asset
Understanding of the mutual insurance system and its philosophy an asset
Detailed knowledge of property damage scoping and estimating
General knowledge of building construction materials, techniques, and construction pricing and estimating

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Communication skills, written and verbal
Strong customer service mindset
Maintains a positive working relationship and liaison with all business partners
Sound judgement and accountability
Attention to detail
Ability to remain calm in urgent situations
