Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team and drive our financial operations forward. In this vital role, you will oversee a broad range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes. Your expertise will support strategic decision-making and help maintain the financial health of the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge accounting software and contribute to the financial success of a growing organization.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other systems to record, monitor, and analyze financial transactions
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in employee compensation
Conduct budgeting activities, monitor expenses, and assist in financial planning efforts
Support auditing procedures by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating internal or external reviews
Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies, variances, or potential areas for cost savings

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms
Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and practices
Experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes
Knowledge of payroll management and financial services operations
Ability to perform detailed account analysis and budgeting activities
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external auditors
