Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, cooking, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to food safety, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to providing high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner
Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Support the team during busy service hours by providing excellent food service and support
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
Familiarity with food handling protocols within the food industry is desirable
Prior kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure is beneficial

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
