As an Electrical Designer your responsibilities would include:
- Designing power, lighting, communications, and life safety systems for residential and commercial buildings
- Producing electrical construction and tender documents including drawings and specifications
- Project management from project inception to completion including coordination with design teams, owners, and contractors; processing project documents; and conducting field reviews

- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada as required
The following technical qualifications are required:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of electrical power and lighting systems
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
The following technical qualifications are considered an asset:
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- A Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng. preferred) with at least 3 years of experience in electrical design for buildings
- Working knowledge of codes and standards related to electrical systems for buildings (e.g., CSA 22.1, NBC, NECB, NFPA, CAN/ULC)
- Understanding of construction contracts and procurement frameworks
