We are currently seeking Consumer Lending Officers to join our teams across our Winnipeg and Steinbach branches. As a Consumer Lending Officer, you will provide lending services to current members and potential members. You’ll recognize member needs and promote and cross-sell all credit union products and services to members, while ensuring all assigned lending activities are in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Conduct interviews with members and prospective members via email, phone, or in person to assess lending needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Evaluate and adjudicate applications for mortgages, loans, and lines of credit by analyzing character, capacity, and collateral to determine creditworthiness.
- Provide timely and knowledgeable responses to member inquiries regarding lending services, resolving routine concerns with professionalism and care.
- Identify and refer cross-selling opportunities to relevant departments to support broader financial service engagement and member satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal security protocols in all lending-related activities.
