Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English Language and English Literature, with the ability to engage students of various ages and backgrounds. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ language development and academic success, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.

Duties

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans focused on English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Incorporate technology and Microsoft Office tools to enhance instructional delivery.
Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and informal evaluations; provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and participate in professional development activities.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, motivation, and effective communication skills among students.
Work with children and young learners, including early childhood education settings when applicable.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus.
Prior classroom experience teaching English or tutoring students in language arts.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience working with children is desirable.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills for lesson planning and administrative tasks.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple classes or sessions.
Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
Certification or degree in Education, TESOL, TEFL, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory for all positions. Join our team to inspire learners and help them achieve their full potential through innovative teaching methods and compassionate support!

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
