SALARY RANGE: $ 80 , 000 – $ 95,000 +

Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant .

B ONUS : Bonus at Target $ 20 , 000

Variable Compensation opportunities are contingent on individual performance and overall business results, pursuant to the Bonus Plan; listed amount are targeted values and not guarantees

LOCATION: Labatt Mississauga Distribution Cent er , 5 days/week in office

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manage all third-party carrier operations for loads originating in Ontario. Tasks include load tendering, load follow-up to ensure loads are picked up/delivered, monitoring and managing performance.

Support with the daily management of the fleet operation in Ontario when needed. Ensure all T1 and T2 Ontario transport requirements are met.

Support Brewery Operations. Ensure transport requirements are met. Ensure returnable packaging and pallet requirements are met for all Intra-Ontario and Inter-Provincial shipments, and full goods shipments are picked up and delivered where required .

Continuously manage costs and look for opportunities to operate more efficiently across the entire transport network.

Possess a strong understanding of transport performance, transport KPIs (tender acceptance, rate compliance, award compliance, on-time delivery, capacity occupation, etc.) and its impact on financials.

Manage carrier relationships to ensure operation within the parameters outlined in the Labatt third party carrier contract, and ensure safe shipping practices while at Labatt sites

Support with union/management processes and relationships within the Labatt Mississauga Warehouse transport scope . This includes playing an active leadership role with unionized transport team members, providing coaching, development and performance feedback.

Work cross-functionally with Procurement, National Logistics, and BSC teams to optimize the transportation network and share best practices.

Assist in preparation of Delivery Pillar requirements for annual audits.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: university degree, business and industry-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: demonstrated ability to lead an operations facility with supervisory experience. Strong leadership skills required . Logistics and supply chain background required .

Proven ability to manage transport operations in a high-volume and dynamic environment.

Proven track record of achievement, attention to detail, solid technical skills and a reputation as a leader of change.

Technical Competencies: Strong interpersonal capabilities, and able to work cross-functionally with other departments on strategic initiatives or process changes. Previous experience with transport management system (TMS), load boards, SAP or warehouse management system (WMS) an asset.

Excellent computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
