Full job description

The Saskatchewan Roofing Contractors Association is looking for an Administrative Director.

The Administrative Director is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This role manages administrative tasks, supports staff and leadership, maintains records, and oversees office resources. The Administrator is often the central point of contact for internal and external communication. This position is half-time ongoing. The position will be remote/work form home .

Key Responsibilities

Office Operations Management — Oversee daily office activities, ensuring a well‑organized and productive environment.
Administrative Support — Provide administrative assistance to leadership and staff, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
Reception & Communication — Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries with professionalism.
Record Keeping — Maintain accurate files, databases, and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Scheduling & Coordination — Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel arrangements, and office events.
Supplies & Inventory — Monitor and order office supplies; manage vendor relationships and office equipment.
Financial Administration — Complete invoicing, expense tracking, purchase orders, and full cycle bookkeeping tasks.
Technology & Systems Support — Support office software and troubleshoot minor issues
Project Assistance — Assist with administrative components of projects, reports, and organizational initiatives.
Relationship Management - Build and support relationships with association members and various organizations

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in office administration or equivalent experience
2–5 years of administrative or office support experience.
2 -5 years of general bookkeeping experience using Sage 50 or similar software
Strong proficiency with office software (Microsoft 365)
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Drivers license and some travel is required
Only candidates legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered
