POSTION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Senior Geologists and Project Geologists, the Core Cutter will be primarily
responsible for supporting advanced-stage exploration activities at the AurMac Project in central
Yukon. This is a fly-in/fly-out, site-based role on a regular rotational schedule for the duration of the
2026 Exploration Program running from March through November.
The key responsibilities of this role include cutting and splitting drill core using manual or automated
diamond saws, preparing and labeling samples, and maintaining accurate organization and tracking
of processed core. The role supports efficient core shack operations by upholding high standards of
accuracy and quality, lifting and moving core boxes, and assisting geologists and geotechnicians
with a range of core shack and field tasks. Additional duties may include moving pallets of core using
a skid steer or pallet jack, troubleshooting sampling issues, and supporting other exploration
activities as required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, along
with the ability to complete complex tasks accurately under time pressure. They will be capable of
following detailed instructions while proactively anticipating additional guidance and tasks assigned
by the logging geologists.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete consistent and accurate cutting and sample preparation of drill core
- Ability to operate and maintain mechanized equipment (i.e. saws and tools) in a safe manner
Work closely with the team to complete work in an organized, efficient, and timely manner
- Perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks for extended periods of time
- Operate with a high degree of flexibility under demanding workloads and time constraints
- Actively contribute to our strong safety culture by ensuring all exploration activities are carried
out in full compliance with Banyan’s Health and Safety policies and Environmental
Sustainability standards.
