Kennel Attendant at Ardiel Animal Hospital-

Ardiel Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and hardworking Kennel Attendant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who loves animals, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent care for pets.

Responsibilities-

Feed, water, caring and administer medications to animals as directed
Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
Laundry and maintaining a clean hospital environment
Monitor animals for signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to management
Monitoring pets and reporting concerns to Veterinary staff
Maintain detailed records of animal health, behavior, and daily activities
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting pet owners during drop-off and pick-up times
Heavy lifting when handling large or heavy animals or supplies

Qualifications-

Genuine love of animals and commitment to their well-being
Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Previous animal care experience is an asset
