Full job description

We are searching for a Service Technician to join our expanding Delta Irrigation team

What you will be doing:

Collaborate with customers to provide technical support, guidance and
training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Skillfully wire both new and used pivots and corners according to established standards.
Install cutting-edge technology onto pivot systems, ensuring precision and functionality.
Cultivate and nurture valuable customer relationships, contributing to satisfaction and loyalty.
Embrace flexibility by being available for extended work hours, when required, during peak seasons.
Keep detailed records of service activities, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
Assist in the design and implementation of irrigation system upgrades and improvements.
Communicate effectively with the service manager and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology.
Follow and promote safe work practices.

What you bring:

Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently.
Prior electrical experience is a must.
Proficient understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Experience with repairs, service, and field work.
Excellent customer service communication skills
Valid driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract
