Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Meat Cutter/Butcher and become a vital part of delivering high-quality, fresh meat products to our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will expertly prepare, cut, and package meat products while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and customer service will help create an engaging shopping experience, fostering trust and satisfaction among our clientele. Responsibilities

Select, cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established standards and customer specifications
Ensure all meat products are handled safely, stored properly, and maintained at appropriate temperatures
Package meat products efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and adhering to food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and deliver excellent customer service
Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with food safety standards
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and uphold quality standards

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery, is highly preferred
Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and proper food handling procedures
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Ability to operate knives, saws, scales, and other butchery tools safely and effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for precise cutting and packaging
Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
Kitchen experience or training in food preparation is a plus but not mandatory
