Full job description

We are seeking a part-time Personal Trainer to join our growing team at Verix Athletics!

We are looking for someone that is committed to helping people. As a personal trainer, your personality, attention to detail, and commitment to health & fitness has the power to change lives.

Our ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter, be committed to continually learning, and fit into our positive culture. You will provide your clientele with the knowledge, motivation, and coaching to achieve their personal fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional Personal Training Sessions by consulting with your clients to understand and analyze their needs and goals, and building well-rounded programs
Provide an excellent Client Experience
Develop your own client base with the assistance of the owner
Ensure you are at each session on time
Maintain excellent communication with owner and clients
Maintain facility by cleaning up after clients and yourself
Be active on social media to promote and market yourself as a fitness professional
Must be passionate about continuing education.
Clean and professional presentation

Compensation will be based on tasks completed and commissions

We would like a candidate to have at least one years’ experience in the fitness industry. However, those passionate about health & fitness and are willing to learn will still be considered if they are the right fit. We also require some evening availability.

Job Types: Part-time (Evenings), Commission

Qualifications/Experience:

CPR-AED (required)
Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification (required)
CSEP-CPT, NASM-CPT, ACE, ISSA preferred
Personal Training/Group Class Experience: 1 year (preferred)
Nutrition Certification (preferred)
Precision Nutrition, BioLayne Nutrition Certification
