Client Service Administrator
Usselman & Johnson CPAs is a professional accounting firm providing accounting, tax and related solutions to a broad client base, with a focus on agriculture, small businesses and personal income tax. Established in 1948, we are a long-standing, locally focused firm committed to providing personalized, professional service to our clients.
We are currently seeking an onsite, full-time, permanent Client Service Administrator to join our team.
This is a key client-facing position and an important part of the day-to-day operation of our office. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many of our clients and will play an important role in providing the friendly, professional and responsive service our clients have come to expect.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A history of excellent client service and communication skills
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
- The ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
- Strong judgment, discretion and respect for confidential information
- Confidence and professionalism when answering phones and dealing with clients in person
- Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, along with the ability and willingness to learn new technology, systems and processes
The following would be considered assets:
- Bookkeeping experience, both manual and computerized
- Experience with accounting and tax software
- Knowledge of GST, payroll, personal tax and dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency
- Previous experience in an accounting, professional services or similar office
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in being organized and gets satisfaction from keeping a busy office running smoothly. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, using good judgment, taking initiative and knowing when to ask for assistance.

The position will commence on a mutually agreed upon date near September 21, 2026.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be discussed in more detail during an interview.
