What you'll do:
This position is currently based at our Head Office in Melville, Saskatchewan. The position reports to the Manager, Application Services and is responsible for analyzing, designing, testing and coding programs of Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation’s (SCIC’s) systems. This is a temporary term position for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Provide Business Systems Analysis by taking high level business requirements and composing detailed solution requirements for application software implementation.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position you need a diploma in Computer Systems Technology with a minimum of two years experience in computer programming and systems’ analysis in a business environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Knowledge and experience in Business Analysis, to translate business requirements into a functioning solution.

Knowledge of database structure, data integrity and data modelling as it relates to application software development. Understanding of SQL with the ability to write high performing SQL to solve complex problems.

Demonstrated experience in object-oriented programming; preference with a background using .NET or Java.
