Merritt Highway Plaza – Chevron

3999 Airport Road, Merritt, BC

Merritt Highway Plaza – Chevron is opening a brand-new Chevron gas station and 3,500 sq. ft. convenience store in Merritt. We are looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team.

If you enjoy working with people, take pride in keeping a workplace clean and organized, and want to be part of an exciting new business, we would love to hear from you.

Position Responsibilities

Provide friendly and professional customer service to all customers.
Operate cash registers and process fuel, retail, lottery, and tobacco sales.
Assist customers with questions, product information, and general inquiries.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays while maintaining proper inventory levels.
Receive and organize merchandise deliveries.
Ensure products are properly displayed and priced.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, coffee station, washrooms, and fueling areas.
Monitor fuel pumps and follow all safety procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and store organization.
Follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
Perform other duties as required to support daily store operations.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting.
Basic English communication skills required.
Previous retail, convenience store, gas station, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
