Intermediate Revit Technician/Designer - 3-Month Contract

We are an award-winning hospitality interior design firm located in Vancouver’s Broadway/Kitsilano area. We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Revit Technician/Designer for a 3-month contract with the potential for an extension. The successful candidate will work with our interior design team to produce detailed design and construction documentation for hospitality and senior-living projects.

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 4 years of professional Revit experience in an architectural or interior design firm, and familiar with BIM Collaborate.
Minimum 2 years of experience with a Canadian architectural or design firm, including senior-living projects.
Advanced experience producing detailed construction-document packages in Revit.

Please Note: Applicants without both strong Revit experience and senior-living or hotel project experience will not be considered. Selected candidates will complete a 2-hour Revit proficiency assessment as part of the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

Produce design, permit and construction documents for hospitality and senior-living projects.
Develop and maintain accurate Revit models and drawing packages.
Prepare plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules.
Create and modify Revit families.
Coordinate drawings with consultants, contractors, clients and internal project teams.
Review documents for accuracy, completeness, constructability and code compliance.
Resolve technical and drawing-coordination issues.
Participate in project meetings.
Provide Revit guidance and technical support to team members.
Manage assigned work and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design Technology or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in Revit, including modelling, BIM coordination, drawing development, schedules, detailing and family creation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft 365.
Strong knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code and National Building Code of Canada.
Strong understanding of interior-design documentation, detailing and construction methods.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Autodesk certification is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with
