Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety who thrive under pressure and are committed to delivering excellent food service. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through quality meal preparation and efficient food handling.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Cook dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service

Requirements

Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and kitchen procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation and food service operations
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the kitchen

Pay: $17.60-$19.50 per hour
