MacLeod Cares Ivey’s Terrace Nursing Home is a 36-bed long-term care home located in Trenton, Nova Scotia, on expansive landscaped grounds near Trenton Park. We are proud to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a close-knit community environment where Residents feel at home.
Operating under MacLeod Group Health Services Limited (MGHSL), we are committed to creating a positive, supportive workplace where team members grow, lead, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Residents and their families.
As a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), you will provide hands-on, person-centered care that supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our Residents.
MacLeod Cares strives to be industry leading while demonstrating exceptional care for our Residents and their families. Whether you are newly certified or bring years of experience, you will be supported through mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid CCA Certification with Medication Administration Certificate in Nova Scotia (or equivalent)
- Compassionate and positive personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellence driven with a sincere desire to work with the elderly
- A clear vulnerable sector and criminal record check
Those currently enrolled in LPN, paramedic, or related healthcare programs who have completed pharmacology are also encouraged to apply.
