Business Development / Outside Sales Representative – Toronto Territory

Job Description

Fresh Start Foods is hiring a Full-Time Sales Representative to drive business development and market penetration across the GTA territory . This role is designed for a "hunter" who excels at lead generation , B2B sales , and client relationship management .

Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, business hours.

Location: Territory covers GTA (Visit the Milton office once per week).

Compensation: $65,000 per year, plus uncapped sales commission, gas card, company cell phone, car allowance.

Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do

Drive Sales Growth: Proactively identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities to exceed company revenue targets in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
Strategic Territory Management: Create and execute a robust sales strategy and business plan for your assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
Market Penetration: Implement action plans to break into new markets (restaurants, institutions, etc.) and secure high-potential accounts.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term loyalty with clients, serving as a dedicated Account Manager and trusted advisor.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Operations, Product Development) to deliver tailored produce solutions and superior service.
Professional Representation: Be the face of Fresh Start Foods, delivering compelling pitches and presentations to key decision-makers.

Required Qualifications/Skills

Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years of success in direct selling, outside sales, or account management with a record of exceeding quotas.
Hunter Mentality: A results-driven professional with a relentless drive to secure new business and close deals.
Exceptional Negotiation Skills: Expert at navigating complex contracts and high-level negotiations with diplomacy and persuasion.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) to track sales activity and collaborate.
Mobility: Must hold a valid Class G Driver’s License and have a reliable vehicle for travel within the territory.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Foodservice or Hospitality industry is highly preferred.
