Vision Truck Group - Brampton

Position: Inventory Controller (Union)

Shift: Monday to Friday 9am-6:30pm

Wage: $27.86 per hour

Vision Truck Group is currently seeking an Inventory Controller to join our Brampton team. Our ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to learn on the job. Experience working at the parts counter of a dealership, inventory management, Excel, and office administration would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
Analyze and report on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies.
Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts and overstocking, and improve overall inventory management.
Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
Execute regular returns to maintain health inventory and minimize obsolescence.
Interpret and decipher special orders from sales team and efficiently procure parts from suppliers.
Conduct regular inventory audits and physical counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
Maintain inventory management systems and databases.
Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records, including transfers and cycle counts.
Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports; review reports monthly with management.

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma required.
Minimum of one year of related experience in warehousing and logistics.
An additional two years of experience at retail and/or wholesale parts counters.
Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and other standard software/technology.
Exceptional organization and communication skills.
