Full job description

COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. is a leading global ocean carrier with a rich history in the Canadian market. The company is launching a brand-new operation center, COSCO SHIPPING NAOC – North America Operation Center, in Toronto, and we are seeking an experienced, hands-on and highly organized Administration Supervisor to assist with setting up of the new office, overseeing office administration and supporting daily operations. The position will also work closely with local leadership and head office corporate standards.

This is a full-time position based on 37.5 hours per week reporting to the manager of General Management Department of NAOC.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the initial physical and operational set up of the new office location
Supervise daily office operations, including but not limited to utilities and property coordination, facility maintenance, and various administrative tasks
Handle administrative procurement, e.g. office supplies, cleaning service, etc.
Coordinate meetings, business travel and general administrative support
Collaborate with head office to ensure corporate policies and procedures, and compliance standards are mirrored at the new site
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirement

5+ years of administrative/office management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.
Highly proactive and confident, with a positive attitude
Strong organizational skill, ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
