Position Summary:
- Provide Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy treatment services in the upper extremity and hand and wrist program through WSIB specialized Care and assume new caseloads confidently and competently
- Assess and treat patients as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physiotherapists, psychotherapists, and psychologists
- Deliver Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy services in accordance with College guidelines and Essential Competencies for clients with occupational performance deficits
- Participate in Professional Practice meetings as required
- Supervise support personnel, students, and volunteers as appropriate
Contribute to program planning, continuous quality improvement, and evaluation in support of the vision and mandate of Trillium Health Partners and Occupational Therapy Service.

Key Qualifications:
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario or the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Certified Hand Therapist credential is an asset
- Membership in a profession-specific association is preferred
- 1–2 years of relevant experience treating hand and upper-extremity injuries and conditions in an ambulatory care setting, including surgical and non-surgical populations
- Experience with upper-extremity mobilization techniques and fabrication of splints
- Experience with functional ability evaluations, return-to-work planning, work conditioning, and simulation is an asset
- Education and experience in evidence-based pain management strategies is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, report-writing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic interprofessional team, collaborate with community partners, and adapt to changing operational and patient care needs
- Commitment to exceptional client-centred care and continuous learning
- Experience working collaboratively with Occupational Therapist Assistants
- Experience liaising with third-party providers, such as WSIB and insurers, is an asset
Experience developing treatment plans that address psychosocial stressors and rehabilitation planning with a return-to-work and function focus is an asset
