OVERVIEW
The Hydrovac Operations & Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hydrovac division while actively driving revenue growth through client development, estimating, and account management. This role ensures efficient crew utilization, high service quality, and strong customer relationships, while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management
- Oversee daily hydrovac operations, including scheduling, dispatch coordination, and crew allocation
- Ensure optimal utilization of trucks, equipment, and personnel
- Monitor job performance, productivity, and job costing
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot operational issues in real-time and support field crews as needed
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and minimize downtime
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, municipalities, and key clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and utilities sectors
- Prepare estimates, pricing, and proposals for hydrovac services
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and ongoing opportunities to close work
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategy and market positioning
- Track sales pipeline and contribute to revenue forecasting
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in hydrovac, construction, or related field operations
- Strong understanding of hydrovac services, job costing, and field logistics
- Proven ability to generate business and manage client relationships
- Experience with estimating and pricing work in a competitive market
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
