Full job description

One of our clients is seeking a skilled Welder to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG and TIG welding and a strong focus on quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment
Select appropriate welding methods, materials, gases, and filler metals
Weld components made from steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals
Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting parts
Perform tack welding and final welding according to specifications
Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance requirements
Inspect finished welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion
Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
Repair or rework defective welds as required

Requirements

Previous welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Commitment to safety and accuracy

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
