They participate in programs to foster responsiveness to the unique characteristics of the community to achieve financial objectives. They will work with staff to ensure the brand is always represented in a professional manner.
· Contributes to financial objectives established by the Company
· Ensures all Sales Associates comply with The Roadmap (First Impressions, Responsible, Needs-First, Cannabis leader)
· Uses the Company’s coaching tools to maintain high standards of customer service
· Demonstrates high floor awareness and good control of the sales floor
· Encourages team’s knowledge in our product offering, terminology and LP spotlights
· Acts as a role model in developing base using the Company’s tools
· Acts as a role model in customer service and meet personal sales targets
· Ensures proper floor coverage at all times through labour utilization scheduling
· Reacts to traffic trends as required
Ownership
· Consistently maintains the store presentation standards.
· Ensures housekeeping standards are maintained.
· Participates in the execution of all Marketing directives with a high sense of urgency
· Initiates community engagement efforts and in-store events to drive new footsteps and incremental sales.
· Provides input to the merchandise/allocation team on quality issues, missed opportunities and inventory mix.
· Acts as a role model ensuring store meets Email capture % goal.
Collaboration
· Contributes to a performing team through ongoing coaching and provides feedback on under-performing associates in a timely manner
· Delegates responsibilities to team members to stimulate growth
· Participates in attracts and recruits the best talent utilizing all Company’s recruitment tools and resources
· Assist in new hire onboarding and orientation
Integrity
· Promotes environment which effectively manages and controls inventory shrinkage.
· Loss Prevention Audit: follow all policies and procedures as per Company direction (i.e. cash management, POS procedures, inventory control, building security, employee information, price accuracy and markdowns)
· Policy Adherence: ensures all staff is aware of and understand all Company Policies such as Loss Prevention, Health and Safety and Human Resources
· Inventory Management: provides feedback on opportunities to optimize categories and completes cycle counts
· Admin: completes all assigned administrative functions with accuracy and in a timely manner (cash balancing reports, daily labour reconciliation, dashboard management)
Job Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
· 3-5 Years of retail experience
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Read and write in English and local languages as required
· Ability to organize, plan and execute initiatives in a timely manner
· Embraces Company initiatives and acts as a change agent to ensure directives are met
· Able to give and receive constructive feedback
· Able to network and attract talent to build effective teams
· Is customer obsessed
· Valid provincially required certification
· Able to pass all requirements including providing a background check
