Primary Function:

As a QA Inspector, you will be reporting to the Quality Manager and working alongside Quality Control Technicians. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing products while playing an important role in helping to maintain a standard of excellence. We are looking for a driven and resourceful individual who can handle a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, excellent prioritizing skills, possess a sense of urgency to meet outbound product delivery.

What you bring to the role:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
At least 1 year of experience as a QA Inspector
Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience an asset
Manufacturing experience an asset
Experience using basic hand inspection tools
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings/design
Ability to work well in a team environment
Must be able to effectively interact with employees at all levels
Proficient in use of basic computer technology
Excellent communication skills
Able to lift loads up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)

What you will do in the role:

Collect documentation related to final inspection and review for accuracy related to sales order.
Perform inspections on inbound and outbound product to ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met consistently and communicates any related issues to Quality Manager.
Incoming inspection of parts, and materials as per drawings.
Perform audits to verify quality check list of process.
Work with team members to understand the needs of the job, environment, and ensure compliance to specifications.
Maintain quality documentation according to established Quality manual and procedures.
Maintain daily shift log of problems and information.
End of line inspections.
Other duties as assigned.
Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 5%.
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

This position is located at 6635 Ordan Drive in Mississauga, ON.

This is a day shift position hours are typically Mondays to Thursdays from 7:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Pay: $23.00

This is a Full-time, Hourly position.
