Location: Moncton Campus- 1070 St George Blvd, Moncton, NB E1E 4K7
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Start Date: Immediate
The Opportunity:
The primary purpose of the Administrative Assistant role is to create and manage exceptional first impressions for everyone who interacts with Eastern College. This position requires a friendly, confident, and highly organized individual who serves as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and external stakeholders.
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring every interaction is welcoming, professional, and positive, helping to establish the strong first impression that is essential to a successful admissions experience.
What you'll be doing:

Manage and direct incoming telephone calls.

Greet all visitors to the campus.

Carry out campus opening and/or closing procedures if required.

Provide support to the Campus Director, Program Administrator, and other staff members.

Provide administrative support to support daily campus operations.
-
Manage and maintain stationery levels and consumables.
-
Make calls to absent students on a daily basis as per the attendance policies and procedures.

Maintains the certificate board.
-
Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the position:

Minimum college diploma from a business-related program.
-
Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience.
-
Minimum two (2) years of proven success in customer service is required.

Computer literacy with MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

Experience with Contact Management Software.

Knowledge of integrated telephone systems.
-
Excellent communication skills.
