Full job description

Customer Service Representative – Transportation Industry

VA is currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for both customers and drivers, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and a high level of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, including pickup requests, shipment tracking, urgent situations, and complaint resolution
Respond to driver communications regarding OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged freight), delays, and operational issues
Accurately document all interactions and cases in accordance with company procedures and service standards
Perform daily follow-ups on all open files (claims, customer requests, ongoing investigations, etc.) to ensure timely resolution
Maintain and update customer records and system information to ensure data accuracy
Identify recurring issues and trends, and proactively recommend process improvements to management
Prepare and submit reports required by management within established deadlines

What We’re Looking For

Experience in Customer Service in the transportation industry
Available to work from 10h00AM to 18h30PM
Bilingual (French and English to support customers all over Canada)
Knowledge of AS400
Mastery of Office Suite (Excel, Word etc...)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service quality
