The Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager. As a part of the Product Management team, you will support the strategy development and lifecycle of Greystone’s HVAC Building Automation Sensor portfolio—from Business Case preparation to Mass Production. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading building automation solutions.
What You Will Do
· Define in cooperation with the leadership of Greystone Energy Systems Inc., and execute product strategy and multi-year roadmap for HVAC sensors (temperature, humidity, CO₂, pressure, airflow, occupancy, IAQ)
· Identify opportunities based on market trends, regulations, and competitive analysis
· Gather and translate customer and market insights (VOC) into business cases and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)
· Lead product development with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Sales, and Marketing as a member of cross-functional team
· Manage the full product lifecycle, including launches, improvements, and end-of-life planning
· Act as a subject matter expert in building automation and HVAC sensing; Support innovation and commercialization of new sensing solutions (smart buildings, IoT, energy efficiency).
What You Bring
· 5–10 years of product management experience (preferably in HVAC, electronics, or building automation)
· Strong expertise in HVAC controls, HVAC sensing technologies, and abuilding automation systems (BAS)
· Experience leading cross-functional product development in a manufacturing environment
· Ability to translate strategy into clear product requirements
· Understanding the customer, practice in market analysis and segmentation
· Requirements management
· New product introduction process management (NPI)
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Experience with gas detection sensors or transmitters and their applications
· Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, energy regulations)
· Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and ERP systems (Syspro)
· Can do, hands-on attitude, and ability to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities.
Education
University degree or College diploma in a technical, related field is preferred
